Covid: Pandemic 'has highlighted archaic wedding laws'

Personally I have always approached the conversation about "where a couple can marry?" very openly. I have helped people tie the knot on Neolithic chalk carvings, in beautiful olive groves, in the comfort of their own garden and even at festivals. It's never been an issue, just a simple adjustment of perspective is all that is needed and a quick trip to the registry office to #fileyourmarriagepaperwork is all that is required. But it seems now that the system that embraces and provides matrimony is finally getting with the programme.

This recent post from the BBC discusses how the Pandemic has highlighted our archaic wedding laws. With the Ministry of Justice quoting it wanted to ensure that the law "better reflects modern society". You can read is here https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-55796748 It's exciting news for everyone.
